Rooms Made to Measure
Casa Izel offers 25 unique rooms: nine housed within the restored residence and sixteen in the new wing. Many feature private terraces, offering intimate spaces with views of the city. Each room and bathroom was designed individually, with bespoke details and tailored finishes that make every stay one of a kind. In the new building, interiors lean toward an Art Deco spirit, with soft lighting, natural concrete finishes, and carefully selected materials that create an atmosphere of quiet sophistication.

Beyond its architecture, Casa Izel is home to a bold culinary vision.
On the ground floor, Xuna is led by Michelin-starred chef Jonatán Gómez Luna. Here, contemporary Mexican cuisine reaches new heights, blending ancestral recipes and local ingredients with modern techniques. Every dish is a celebration of Mexico’s flavors, reimagined with artistry and respect.
On the rooftop, Conchita Clamont — named after the casona’s former owner — offers breakfasts, lunches, and dinners with a casual dining spirit. From this terrace, guests can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere paired with sweeping skyline views of Mexico City.
To complete the experience, Casa Izel is also home to The Bar by Xuna, a lobby bar serving signature cocktails, finger food, and evenings set to vinyl and curated DJ sessions. Hidden in the basement, the speakeasy Librería Valladolid reveals an intimate and cozy escape behind the doors of a library, offering unique cocktails in a one-of-a-kind setting.
